Jens Bernitzky, Marketing and Sales Director, Hartl Life Resort, Bad Griesbach, Germany, to make a case presentation on Europe's largest golf and spa resort at the INVgolf Investment Forum 2005
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE March 2, 2005 -- Jens Bernitzky, Marketing and Sales Director, Hartl Life Resort, Bad Griesbach, Germany, will make a case presentation on Europe's largest golf and spa resort during the 'Five Experts Comment on Four Projects in Three Countries' interactive session at the INVgolf Investment Forum 2005, to be held in Belek, Antalya, Turkey on April 22 & 23, 2005. Career summary Jens has been working with the Hartl Life Resort since 1999. He is responsible for all sales activities and for co-ordinating marketing activities that effect all hotels linked to the resort. In addition he is responsible for most trade fair exhibitions of the resort in the golf, travel and incentive market, for corporations with different partners, journalists and for networking within the meeting/incentive and international golf travel industry. He started his career within the hotel and catering industry 1986 as a chef, working the next few years in some of the best hotels and restaurants in Germany. For more than two years he hold a managing position onboard two of Cunards' five-star cruise ships. His marketing and sales background started with a Hotel Management Trainee Program in one of the leading luxury hotels in Munich. Thereafter he deepened these skills in his position as a Key Account Manager for the Steigenberger/SRS- WorldHotels Group, representing more than 400 hotels world-wide. Some of his major goals for the Hartl Life Resort in the coming years are the opening of new markets and achieving co-operations with different partners, especially within the international golf travel market to support that Germany is more recognised by international golf players as an attractive golf travel destination. For several years he has been a member of IAGTO (International Association of Golf Tour Operator), MPI (Meeting Professionals International), the Junior Chamber International and the Bavarian Promotion Pool. "I am confident, that the INVgolf Investment Forum 2005 will be a great opportunity to share different opinions with international experts about the future of the golf industry and golf resort investment industry," says Jens. About the Hartl Life Resort The Hartl Life Resort, located in Bad Griesbach, approximately 130 km eastern of Munich, is at present Europe's largest golf and spa resort. The resort was founded in the early 1980s by its owner Alois Hartl and includes four luxury hotels with a total capacity of more than 700 rooms, 17 function rooms for up to 350 delegates and 14 different restaurants. All hotels offer various spa/health treatments and have extensive sauna- and wellness area on more than 13,000 square metres. The resort offers six 18-hole championship courses, three of which have been designed by Germany's top golfer, Bernhard Langer. There are additional golf facilities, such as the world's largest Golf Academy with 37 PGA Professionals, three 9-hole courses, two 6-hole courses, and the Golfodrom (one of the largest Golf Practice Area with 109 Tee off boxes, 27-hole indoor putting green, 72-hole outdoor putting green and Germany's largest on-site pro shop. Voted by the readers of "Golf Journal," Germany's leading golf publication, the resort received the 2004 Awards as "Best Golf Resort World-wide" and "Best Golf Hotel World-wide" (Hotel Maximilian), for the third time in a row. In October 2004, the Hartl Life Resort signed a historical reciprocal agreement with the world's largest golf resort, Mission Hills, that allows its 5,000 member to play at no green fee on the 10 championship courses at Mission Hills.
