Paul Dellanzo, Vice President of European Operations, Troon Golf, to deliver keynote speech at the 2003 European GOLF Investment and Real Estate Conference

July 17, 2003 -- Paul Dellanzo, Vice President of European Operations, Troon Golf, Italy, will deliver a keynote speech at the 'Investing in, Managing and Developing Golf Courses and Leisure Real Estate in Europe' session of the 2003 European GOLF Investment and Real Estate Conference & Exhibition in Athens on November 29, 2003.

He will also sit on the 'Effective Golf Course Management: Creating the Most Value for Owners and Investors in Europe' panel on Saturday.

Career summary

Paul has been in the golf and hospitality industry since 1979. A qualified PGA Golf professional, he is a member of the British PGA, Canadian PGA, PGA of Europe and PGA of Italy. Paul has won five professional championships. His experience includes coaching some of the world's leading tour players, instruction contributor to various publications, and television commentary at the Open Golf Championship and European Tour events.

For five years responsible for Starwood Hotels and Resorts' golf operations based in Costa Smeralda, Italy, Paul has opened and managed some of the leading golf clubs and resorts on three continents, including Whistler, Canada, Loch Lomond, Scotland, Dubai Creek in the United Arab Emirates, and Doha Golf Club in Qatar.

He is currently Vice President of European Operations for Troon Golf and is responsible for existing operations and driving their business development programme.

Paul's speech titled 'Understanding the Golf Element and Development Process' will address the following issues:

Educating and communicating with the planning authorities to understand the opportunity.
