Aris Ikkos, General Manager, JBR Hellas Ltd., to speak at the 2003 European GOLF Investment and Real Estate Conference

July 4th, 2003 -- Aris Ikkos, General Manager, JBR Hellas Ltd., will deliver a speech titled 'Critical Success Factors for the Development of Golf in Greece' to a distinguished audience of industry leaders, top investors, leading entrepreneurs, decision-makers, government officials, policy formers and professionals at the 2003 European GOLF Investment and Real Estate Conference & Exhibition in Athens on November 28th, 2003.

Commenting on this important international event, Aris said: "This Golf conference offers a long awaited opportunity to kickstart a market of at least 200,000 tourist golfers in Greece."

Career summary

Aris is General Manager of JBR Hellas, Business Consultants. He holds a Ph.D. in economics from London University. He has been actively consulting the leisure and tourism industry since the early 90s as Director of Consulting division of the then Horwath member in Greece.

He has led and participated in a large number of tourism projects, including integrated golf and real estate resorts, individual hotel studies, golf courses, conference centres, marinas, casinos, theme parks etc. For two years, he was also member of a project management team developing a 100-hectare area into a golf resort and real estate development.
