Robert McDonald, freelance writer and broadcaster, to moderate emerging markets session the 2003 European GOLF Investment and Real Estate Conference

October 27, 2003 -- Robert McDonald, a freelance writer and broadcaster specialising in matters Greek, will moderate the 'Golf and Leisure Real Estate Business and Investment Opportunities: Prospects, Critical Issues and Challenges in Emerging European Markets' session at the 2003 European GOLF Investment and Real Estate Conference on November 29, 2003.

Career summary

Robert is a freelance writer and broadcaster specialising in matters Greek. He is the contributor to the Economist Intelligence Unit's quarterly Country Report: Greece and annual Country Commerce: Greece. He is also the author of the quarterly industrial survey series Business File published in Athens by Kerkyra Publications Ltd. In this capacity he recently addressed the development of golf in Greece in "Life's a beach," Survey Number 47, March 2003 which dealt with the tourism industry in general.

Robert has a ground-up knowledge of golf having for many years as a youth worked as a caddy. Last time he was out he shot a 79 -- on the front nine.
