Napoleon Tsanis, CEO and President, Albatross Investments and Developments, to speak at the 2003 European GOLF Investment and Real Estate Conference

November 3, 2003 -- Napoleon Tsanis, CEO and President, Albatross Investments and Developments, Greece, will deliver a speech to a distinguished audience at the 2003 European GOLF Investment and Real Estate Conference in Athens on November 28th, 2003. He will also present a unique Golf Resort and Real Estate development opportunity on Saturday, November 29.

"There could be no other opportune time to hold such a conference given the uncertainties facing the real estate and construction industry," says Napoleon, "and the Greek economy in total, following the 2004 Olympic Games. There are fears that private investments especially in the Real Estate field will dramatically slow down. Golf and Real Estate, a growing sector in Europe and a new starter in Greece, will be key elements in maintaining the Economic Growth experienced prior to The Games while at the same time establishing a long term viable solution to year round tourism in the otherwise seasonal industry in the Mediterranean."

Career summary

Napoleon Tsanis is CEO and President of Albatross Investments and Developments specialising in Golf Resorts and Real Estate development. He was born in Greece and migrated to Australia at the age of ten. Educated at James Cook Boys and the University of Sydney, he joined ST George Bank where he rose to the level of Senior Personal Banker within a few years. During that time, Napoleon specialised in the highly competitive Sydney real estate market.

Since 2000, Napoleon has focused in Tourist Real Estate, and more specifically, Golf Resorts and Time Share Accommodation. As of 2001 he has been working in Greece where he believes that Golf and Real Estate development will be at the forefront of a surging economy in the next 5 to 10 years. He has since successfully consulted to Australian development companies that have invested in Greece and with the team at Albatross is working on a Golf Resort and Real Estate development which he will be presenting during the 2003 European GOLF Investment and Real Estate Conference.

Napoleon has personally lived through the success that is known as Australian golf courses and real estate combinations. Not only as golf course villas and apartments, but whole subdivisions adjacent and surrounding new courses where land previously of low value has resulted in exclusive and luxurious estates. 

Napoleon believes that the Greek Government must immediately focus in this new, for Greece, sector, by amending restrictive zoning laws as to not only allow Greece to capitalise in this booming industry, but to ensure that Greece plays a major future role in the outcome of the golf and golf real estate sector of the East Mediterranean region.
